onlinestoreca, even blacking them out, you were accepted?

Yes I was accepted, I think they are more concerned that you are who you say you are.

From what I understand, the two acceptable forms of confirmation for credit card use are the same signature on the receipt, or the 3 digit security number if you are online.

I don't believe that companies are allowed to ask for other ID if you are using your credit card. They must accept the signature or security number if online. However, MyID is not getting this information for billing purposes, it just seems to be an authentication process.

Thanks onlinestoreca, I'll send them an email
and see what we can work out.

Yep and given what has been laid out in this thread I'd be kissing A** from BC to PEI hoping it would go away.

The sad thing about all this is you all hold the power in your hands to force companies to deal with complaints or issues they would otherwise ignore.

As it is apparent myid is ignoring this!

How many emails do you think MYID would have to get saying we won't deal with you until you deal with complaints on dnforum before they'd get off their asses and clean them up.

But it appears to me that in the rush to put a few $$$ in your pockets many of you are failing to insure that you're dealing with a SECURE and TRUSTWORTHY company.

Pity....

I didn't catch the auction close and don't see anywhere on their website that lists the previous auctions. They are going to list the upcoming domains tomorrow.

I'm sure they will publish them soon then. A question to anyone that has already gone through the listing / auction process. Once you submit names, do you wait to hear back on whether they are given the green light to be entered into the upcoming auction, and then download, fill out and fax back the form?

I have some domains i'm hoping to get into auction for the July round and everything is in pending still (likely where it should be, but i'm just curious!).

Thanks

you get an email saying the pending status has changed, and you have to log in and approve it one last time to print out the agreement. they might recommend a different reserve as well, which you have to approve or counter.

A domainer can actually go for 8 months without noticing a drop in his parking income!

I'm sorry to hear your finances are so poor that losing a few bucks would strain you so badly.

It certainly goes to explain why you'd accept money to shill in this forum.

Have you considered welfare as an alternative.:?:

So Gord,

Since your income is sooooo high from PPC, you could have easily afforded the cost of court, after all you have 'proof' and even 'an admission'. Seems like a slam dunk case. And you can win not only your supposedly lost funds but also get legal costs and damages.

So why you never went to court?

And why you never contacted CIRA regarding the unauthorized changes to your domains like you did with sibername?

And what excatly are you hoping to achieve in 2008, 3 years after something you claim happened in 2005 but back then you chose not to contact CIRA and not to take any legal action? Or is this related to your country only domain sales newsletter, which, is a competitor of MyID auction, and let me guess here, is doing extremely poorly?

And I see you are so familiar and experienced with the court system. Back in 2002, you were boasting how you have one of the top domaining lawyers and that you get great legal advice:

http://www.dnforum.com/f4/typodomains-com-thread-3619.html

So you have lots of money, have a top lawyer, have proof, and admission, but still opted not to go to court?

Of course, your answer to all my very simple observations and questions is quite amusing. That's all you got? Am I heading for a slam dunk that easily?

I see the wizard heading for a huge drop.

Stay tuned. The fun is just starting. You are not going to believe what the next post will unveil about the soon to drop Gord.

Hey Gord,

Starting to lose our nerves, aren't we now? Worried that others may learn about who the real Gord is? I thought you live by slandering others. Change of heart? Now you are the sensitive, and really cute, Gordie? What happened to Gordon the bully? Where is Gordon the slanderer? Has the 'we' in Gordon the arrogant slandered shift to the the sweetie cutiepie little tiny 'i' in gordie?

Too many skeletons in your closet? Too many issues the disclosure of which will signify the final drop of the once glowing but now fading banned-from-myid-and-sibername wizard?

It's amazing and laughable when you suddenly talk about courtesy.

But you are right about losing sleep about what is gonna go public before this weekend is over.

You should be very happy that you have a domain portfolio and that those interested in any of your domains will still be willing to buy them, after protecting their butt of course. If domaining was not your carreer, things would be ending up extremely bad for you.

But patience is virtue. The final countdown has started. Less than 48 hours to go. Tik tok, tik tok,....

Since "lionfish" has been constantly attacking two members - at least - and broken the rules could we expect that this "gold member" be "outed" for everyone or at least to the aggrieved parties?
