Domain: MyNemo.com :: mynemo.com :: MYNEMO.COM
Funny story behind this one. I bought this domain from NetSol "back in the day" for $70. After two years and nothing more to show for my investment than an amateurist logo, I reluctantly let it go. Some company out of Hong Kong bought it up, and held it for two or three years (I lose track of time!). Finally this spring they let it expire. Now an avid domain prospector, I had been watching for it and enjoyed a fond homecoming the day I snatched it up.
Anyhoo, I love this domain. It was my first good "grab" in my early days as an Internet developer, but more importantly, I think there is some real branding here. It would work great as a search engine (I've been thinking about http://anemone.mynemo.com) or it may have some appeal to the Disney crowd, what with the coming of the latest Pixar movie "Finding Nemo".
So, give me your feedback. Is my vision clouded by impossible branding? Is the search engine idea too loose of an association to bring value to this domain name? Or, is MyNemo the best thing to happen since MySimon? I would love your straight and honest feedback!
