- IMO, it fits the extension nicely: "Say NO to smoking/fastfood/war/etc."
- Geo domain. NO is the country code of Norway, one of the most prosperous nations in the world
- .no is also the ccTLD of Norway and is quite popular there
- No. is the internationally accepted abbreviation of Number

btw, the previous owner (who's site it still redirects to) told me that this name was originally registered in 1984 when there was no internet in its current form. I don't know how to verify this, but the previous owner was a physics professor at Berkeley, so it might be true. Anyone know if I can verify this from somewhere?

I would say $35K since there are so much possibility for the name. I would not go the GEO route only because of the org. I think it would function much better as a "No" site for teens not to do drugs, adults to fine help with addictions,, etc. I can already envision the ads in my head "When it comes to drinking and driving... Mother's Against Drunk Driving... Just say NO!!!!" Its just so easy to turn this name into a powerful brand. Best of luck with it!

I don't know of the traffic yet. The previous owner has requested me to direct the DNS to his servers while he takes down his site. I'm in no hurry to sell this anyways.

Btw, the official Norway site is at Norway.org. Might have a chance of selling it off to them since they also operate on a .org.

One good thing about this name is that it was never parked and has quite a lot of backlinks (around 1500), so Google likes it...good for development
