Name.com expired domain - how to recover

Hi, a friend of mine did not pay attention and his domain expired on 18 July at name.com. Is there a redemption period at name.com, I seem to remember with Godaddy you could still recover a domain passed it's expiry date for a few days.

It is a really random domain "nyuu-kama.com" that only has meaning to him

Any help would be welcomed

I currently have a domain that expired on June 10th and I can still renew it for $12.99 at Name.com. (It's a domain I've decided to drop.)

You just need to login and then go to https://www.name.com/account/domain/expiring.

You should see the domain under a list of expired domains and the option to renew should be next to the name.
