Anyone had any luck with the .Name extension?

I don't know anyone who has ever bought one. I think that extension was completely Dead on Arrival. Utterly useless in my opinion.

I recived an offer of a free first level one from BulkRegister last year as a reseller. I offered it free to 10 of my customers - no takers. As the Duke said: DOA.

I still have http://Baby.Names.Name

I reged 2 .names total.. not for resale but simply for the keywords..

I'll probably never reg another.. they are lame..

but works for what I wanted it for..

It is being market as first.last.name for personal use. It is also now added to www.needname.com (enom) domain name registration.

enom is doing a lot of integration, soon .de .jp .co.uk will also be added to the service.

regards,
tw.

I agree.

Why will I get "Juan.Tamad.name" if I can get it as "juantamad.com", which everyone try the dot .com extension before anything else ...

Anyway, let us give them time ... we'll see.

Looks like .name is a bust.
