Good luck to Ed and the crew on trying their best to get things running again. However, after two days now, it is starting to get frustrating.

Who in their right mind would want to intentionally hurt another company just for the sake of hurting?

What a nightmare.

Your competition, a former employee, a pissed off customer, or just because someone knows how to do it.

Parked domains seem to all be able to be accessed. Just the homepage is not accessable.
Ed, I hope you get some justice on who was behind this.

hope no-one ( i do) taste domains using namedrive because due this 2 days down I must delete all the domains i've registerd in the last few days because i can't see stats. I lost a lot of money for this, i'm not sure about how namedrive is a serious parking, this kind of things could happens but 2 day down is incredible.

me!!

but nevermind, just less than a handful of them, will keep. :(

6000 domains, could I hold of of them? it's about $36000...do you have extra money ed? :-)

Hi handytraffic,

I'll see what I can do :)

Just to give you an update on this. I am very sorry that the HP is not up yet. Our lead tech guy was up for 36 hours solid battling this thing. The two times he tried getting our HP back up again, the bugs were swarming all over the servers and he brought them down again. After 36 hours, he decided to go to bed so he can get things going with a clear head today.

I appreciate it is a massive inconvenience that you can't log into your account, but that will hopefully be resolved asap today.

If your parking pages aren't resolving, please contact me at [email protected] and I'll try and work out what's going on. Tech say that if you use URL forwarding, then restarting your computer and then viewing the pages may make a difference.

Just to reiterate, whether your pages are live now or not, we will make sure that you do not lose anything as a result of this attack.

Ed

Tough to get real time stats. I do some domain tasting but have yet to find anything to beat ND for traffic testing and stats on that traffic. Plus instant up pages. But, it sounds like you already know that. Fortunately all that I recently regged or caught on the drop in that "magic window" of time I had every intention of keeping them.

ND had been providing an excellent service. It is sad to see it unavailable at this time. Well, wish you all the best. Hope you get it back online soon.

Ed, it sounds like nothing is going to asap it's way back to normalcy. It appears you guys are in a brutal fight.

Obviously, it must have been a whopper to be off this long. Best to you and get some sleep yourself.

sorry Ed but the problem is that I had to view stats to decide what domains hold and what domains delete, now i delete all the domains from the past 5/6 days so the waste of money is due i canceled even domains with good revenue. ( i can't see it)

Anyway, just for your information, take a look about your customer support people, some times ago i talked with Gosia Garbe to have an API access to view stats and she answered me that i'm a fraudulent domainer because i park every day 3000 domains and didn't give me access to that...maybe told to your employers about how this business works and about who is fraudolent and who isn't.

Best wishes,
Andrea

Quit whining. Easy enough to have pointed the domains to Sedo or other parking companies for testing.

yes, for the latest tasting I used parked.com; the problem was for domains taken on 20/21

Agreed. I have no sympathy for domain tasters who complain about losing money.

However, I have a great deal of sympathy for Ed and his team trying to counter this vicious attempt to put Namedrive out of business.

I was a bit concerned, but after reading this thread, I'm sure the team at NameDrive will have it up and running soon. The only reason why the domain portfolio of us domainers haven't been affected is because of the name servers on the FastPark.net domain.

My monthly earnings are up over 65% with NameDrive from when I was using TrafficClub.

Let's get this fixed ... I have a handful of names I need to add to my NameDrive backoffice ;-).

Hi everyone,

Everything is up and running now. We will continue to monitor as the attack has not abated, but hopefully it will be back to business as usual. As I mentioned before, please be patient while we work out the compensation for this mess. Hopefully we can get that done within the next couple of days.

Thank you all again for your patience during this unpleasant time for us.

Ed

Well done for getting things under control.

Just logged on, no problems.

I did check a few parked names while all this was going on and all landers and links worked flawlessly.

Logging into my account it appears all traffic and stats may have been captured so that is indeed good news.

Also good news that you got the matter taken care of. No small task.

It would be foolish to think that a DDOS attack could not happen at any of the parking companies. They can tell you they have all the systems in place but with today's asswipes out there intent on screwing with systems and security measures, that just makes it a challange.

Amen. The voice of reason.
