Does anyone know if NameWinner.com is operating? I have been going there quite often to "test the waters", but they never have any names available.

I noticed this also.. I think, I'm not sure though, what's happening is they don't want to publically have their soon to expire lists available, but you can still bid on names, you just get the exp. info from other places.

Ahhhh I was wondering the same thing. I was gonna go there simply to get the expiration info. I guess they got smart.

I have been to their website many times for the past month or more and many features, pages and links do not work. It seems to be little more than an automated BOT which appears to have not been updated or programmed in ages.

With such a poorly operating website I certainly would not have any faith at all in them grabbing any expired names for me, probably a slim and none chance!

If as Dan say's, perhaps they do not want to publicize their expired lists, then why not remove the feature, or say that on the website rather than pretend their pages and links work? :D

It is hard to believe they prefer it that way as many people (myself included) would hesitate doing business with a firm who does not update their website and allows their pages to not work, though indicated elsewhere on the site that everything is normal and invites one to go to a non-functioning area of the site.

A professional webfirm would not allow their website to be in such a non-functional condition. SnapNames.com seems to be the best place to try and grab some expiring names, though the Koreans/Chinese and BuyDomains.com frequently beats them to the best names. But at least their website is good and they are a professional firm and try to do a good job.

$1200? Most I've ever bid was $495. How bout you save your money and use it to invest in a system for us to beat BuyDomains.com and the Koreans :)

Are all of these bids on NameWinner.com? If so, do I have to sign up before I can even see the names they have available? Also, how many names do they have that they are accepting bids for?

Yes this bids are in namewinner.
You most have a account in dotster.com to acess namewinner.com
You can bid for any name that is expiring then they try to register the name for You!

Are they more likely to get a name over snapnames? Also, is there a minimum to bid? I already have a dotster ID

Yes the minimum is $25
I have never registerd with snapnames, but I have got with namewinner names that had snapbacks?
But now I found a service that is even better, the name had a snapback and the bid in namewinner was $53 or something like that, I emailed them and sayd that I wan`t this name and then they contacted a few days later and sayd that they have the name, but the price was $75 so I didn`t take it, because I belived that was to much for it?
