In your DNForum profile, it says you were born on July 21, 1986. Maybe there's a requirement to be 18, or something?

Not being legally liable for contracts does make for a rather risky relationship for the other party.

NameWinner does have employees who read this forum. Maybe someone noticed?

Or, perhaps it was something else, not age. Maybe bulk adding lots of names but not bidding on any of them? (i.e. using their service to monitor names, but not buy stuff??) I'm just guessing, though, as I don't know how icehole uses NameWinner....just trying to think up reasons why NameWinner would ban folks.

Best way to find out is to email [email protected], presumably or call up their support phone number.

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

Well, yes I am 16 but I am not the one who handles my namewinner account, my mother is. We have even won names with them in the past with her credit card and never had any problems.

I need to email them now..

Same thing just happened to me! In the middle of adding names today I got the error message that said your account has been deactivated from bidding. I am over 16 (considerably over unfortunately) and in the US - buy a lot of names from Namewinner and my accounts are all paid and current. Sent them an email. Will be interesting to see what they have to say. In the meantime looks like I won't be doing any business with them. Weird!

stuff: nothing beats it :D :D

duke: No problem. They replied yesterday (took quite some time) with the message that they fixed it, and they sure had. While they were at it, they took the liberty of upgrading my limit to $5000.

Just wait
