I generally don't like to broker names for other people, but in this case I've made an exception.

Expected to be a 3 Trillion dollar industry by 2014, the potential of this domain is unreal! Here's an interesting article outlining what the future holds for nanotechnology: http://www.onearth.org/article/our-silver-coated-future

PM me with offers, and I'll present them to the owner. Please, nothing below 50k, as he regularly gets offers in this area, and has always rejected them. This is the first time he has shown any interest in selling this domain, so don't miss your chance to pick up a killer investment. It will be gone soon, guaranteed.

Any emails sent to the owner directly will just be forwarded back to me, as he has no time to do the back and forth. So just pm me.

I'm authorized to represent a client offering you $50k and split escrow fee.
We assume the existing website is included in the sale so please confirm this with the owner.
The offer is valid for 48 hours only. Thanks.

Hey Yinan. PM sent.

The site IS NOT included in the sale. However, it is a PR7, so it would be a good idea for whoever buys it to develop it soon after.

Hi

since the website is not included in the sale... is the website and it's content available for sale, should an interested party want both?

and if not, would there be any future conflicts of interest/infringement, should the buyer of the domain develop it with similar content?

just throwing that out there

Thanks

Hey Biggie.

That's a good question. The current owner is still very heavily involved in the industry as an investor, so he'll just transfer the site to a new domain. He's pretty relaxed about the next owner's use of the domain, barring anything of an anti-nanotechnology nature (some people think nanotechnology is evil, haha). As long as the site isn't copied verbatim, there wouldn't be any issues.

The reason he is selling is because he was just made an high ranking officer of a large Biotech company, and has much less time to dedicate to the site.

Giode, just an update.
The maximum my client can offer for the domain name is $45k plus escrow cost at the moment.
If the existing site is included, he can do $52k plus escrow fee.
Funds are ready. Should you consider this offer, please let me know by Monday.
Thanks again.

That was an awesome website. Nanoweek eDigest newsletter is one of the best...hopefully the new owner has the staff to keep this site going... :)

Thanks Acro. Appreciate that. It wasn't my domain, but am satisfied with the deal I was able to get the owner.

Kwok: The party that bought the domain are big time developers, and we worked a nice development deal with the previous owner, within the terms of the sale, where he will play a part in the direction of the new site. So, in the future (six months or so) I expect to see something much better than what it is now. I'm thinking something along the lines of Science.com, in terms of a nanotech resource.
