Last week I looked up this name for a .com and it was a parked page, with ad's ect. I decided to pick up the .net version for good measure. Today I checked it and it was the name of a company, NNN on the stock exchange.
I checked on the US trademarks and they filed a patent for the name on january 24, 2006. I don't want any trouble and would just like to get rid of it. Should I email the company and ask where to send it, or just delete the name altogether, other options please??

I'm no lawyer and don't take what I say to heart, but I'd do either one of two things:

1) See if I can get the name deleted outright.

2) Contact the tm holders, treading very lightly to inform them I am turning over the name to them and 'do not' expect one red cent from doing so.

Now remember, I am no attorney nor do I claim to be one.
