Well got (purchased) this one: ne1.net

Just curious as to whether I paid to much :) (I am not going to disclose what I paid for it, except that it was my most expensive domain purchase ever)

I think I will develop it, but it will take some time for me to conduct research for what I want to do with it (free webmail and possibly paid POP3).

I'd pay reg fees (maybe), but would probably pass on a retail price on this one.

To an end user, $100-250

i like the name. Brandable, and i would think you could get at least $400, but if you were approached, i think $5k

Thank you for the responses.

I guess I did pay a bit to much, but I still personally think that it's worth it. Very short, easy to remember. I know it's not very business related, but just how many 3 letter domains are there that are (still being easy to remember and pronounceable).

Wondering whether there is a market for launching a paid POP3 service (like 10 $/year) ie. hosted on a dedicated server with a good host; thus offering a stabile email alternative not dependant on your isp.

Far less.

I am not interested in disclosing it because the seller is not.

I did barter for it though, and got it at ~40% of what he asked :)

If you have a use for it, then congratulations...

If you bought it to resell only...perhaps you overpaid....

good luck
