I had read that just over 100K domains are reg'd every month and roughly 80K are dropped each month. I have no idea if tasing is included in that figure but it seems it would have to be.

Actually, about 1.2 MILLION domains are registered daily (.com/.net/.org) and about 800k are deleted, DAILY. These figures include tasting.
