But Andrew why does a whois check at GoDaddy show:
No match for "net.NET" in the registrar database

whereas other names owned by the same registrant have valid GoDaddy whois details, such as:
cool.net
news.net
mac.net

this all seems very strange. news.net was stolen so maybe same owner is getting punished by getting stripped of net.net?
