Please help me appraise this domain.
I am relatively new at this but here's what I can say about this domain...
There is an up-and-coming Social Networking site for Mac users Net4Mac.com so this is the most logical and trafficked variation (not sure if this would technically be considered a 'typo').
I've had it parked for the last 3 weeks to try it out and these are the numbers so far (all type-in traffic - no links):
205 total visitors and $37.54 Total Revenue (after the 35% the parking company takes).
So, for a year that would make $650 on 3500 unique visitors.
I've read somewhere a rule of thumb of appraising a parked site at 3 years of it's average income, which would make this domain worth just under $2k.
Does this make sense to you pros? Would someone buy this site based on 3 weeks of use?
Also, what about the 'future potential' factor, as in, net4mac.com is still at its infancy stage and could become quite big if it catches on, how do you factor that in?
Where/how would you recommend selling this domain if I choose to do so? Ebay? Special domain auction sites? (I may need something to keep funding my new domaining experiment/passion).
