I have a nice two-word generic domain name, and I occasionally check domainsurfer.com to see what variants of the name have been registered.
Today (Sunday 7/7) I noticed that a whole bunch of expired names (mostly variations starting with "I" and "E") had been dropped from the registry. So I looked to see if a different domain name that I wanted that NetSol had held for almost a year was available. It was! So I snapped it up.
I don't know what's going on, but this might be the time to look to see if that name you were after is available.
