With the new fees comes new rules, read those first. Let's face it restricted domain space(.pro) and fee based name space(.tv) are two models of failure in the domain indsutry. I'm not saying all individual names are bad just the models these registries have chosen. They limit the saturation of the name space in the market. I think both .pro and .tv could compete if they simply dropped the rules and fees.

The rules just keep things professional IMHO maybe not good for all resellers (Unless a recognized domain professional . The rules are to keep porn out.

A quick warning for DNforum members about Encirca. They are refusing to update my WHOIS details until I reregister my .pros, in effect forcing me to pay a $75 rereg fee before I can renew at their already inflated $59.99 renewal rate. If you use the coupon code 2600 you get an extra 25% of .pro registration with Network Solution bringing the cost down to $22.50 which is cheaper than Encirca. I cannot imagine Network Solutions refusing to update WHOIS records.

They don't need to be according to registrypro rules. Also, one person/firm can register an unlimited number of .pro names. It's just practical regarding firm/person working on many areas.
