BUG:

BIDDER A(me)
BIDDER B
=================================
Auction starts:
BIDDER A bids $60 (BIDDER A HIGH BIDDER WITH $60)
BIDDER B bids $60
=================================
BIDDER A bids $70 (proxy $80) (BIDDER A HIGH BIDDER WITH $70)
=================================
BIDDER B bids $80 (BIDDER A HIGH BIDDER WITH $80)
=================================
BIDDER A bids $90 (BIDDER A HIGH BIDDER WITH $90 INSTEAD OF $80 AND PROXY $90!!!!
=================================

I tried to explain it to support but they are trying to teach me how auctions work.

Yep, you are right. Tell them they should imagine is REAL auction and "proxy bid" is You ask the auctioneer to bid on your behalf. So the end was like - you are the highest bidder $80 and asked auctioneer to bid on your behalf $90 if someone bids $90. But as noone did bid $90, $80 bid is valid.
