A male celebrity domain name I had for quite a bit recently started getting a few hundred hits a day because of a new series that hit tv. Would turning it into a fansite be too risky for cybersquating reasons or would it actually be a better thing to do than keeping it parked.

Thanks Mike, what legal problems should I look out for and keep in mind? It will probably be advertised as an unofficial John Doe fan site. Where can I legally get pictures from etc?

a fan site is a fan site... i don't think i've ever heard of one being shut down....unless there was porn or other scams involved... if anything, this "celebrities" support regular fan-based sites and all this stuff because as long as they are getting promoted, etc....and everything is fair and square they sure are happy.
