New Project: Please feel free to give us your feedback.

Regards,
Cinderella

Basic outline of the project-

We will be selling web design for a low cost, however, the prices will vary anywhere from $5/site to $50/site and it will be on a first come first serve basis.
This will work in a pyramid form: (try and picture it as a pyramid, the post will not let me do it, it aligns it left)

$5

$10 $10 $10

$15 $15 $15 $15 $15

And so on….

So only 1 person will be eligible to get a site designed for $5
3 people for $10
5 people for $15 and so on until we get to $50.00

Time frame will be one week to get the sites done.

The way the weeks will work is as follows. They will go downwards, so imaging that the dollars in “red” are Oct. 3rd – 10th and the dollars in blue are week of Oct 11th-17th
And so on……

In order for someone to take advantage of this, they will have to be a dnforum.com member, and will have to input their username to get one, and only ONE per same price will be available for the same user. So for example, if “DOTCOMGOD” purchases a website design for $10 he cannot purchase another one for $10 but can however purchase one for $15, and then if he wants another one, he cannot get the $15 he would have to purchase one for $20 etc…..

Once they make their choice and purchase one, the system will take them to a next page, where they are given the entire pyramid but now, instead of the dollar amount, it shows the persons dnforum user name there, making that slot unavailable for someone else to purchase.

$5

DOTCOMGOD $10 $10

$15 $15 $15 $15 $15

NEXT ->

You will then be guided to another page where they will be given more options to choose from if needed. These will be add-ons to their site. The system will keep calculation.

So for example:
DOTCOMGOD chooses a site for $10

Next Page:

Banner Advertisement in Dnforum Platinum Section-
Fixed Price and offers @ 50% OFF ○ $35.00

One Banner Design- any size ○ $5.00

I would like Dnforum to host my website ○ $5.00

I would like a logo designed ○ $3.00

I would like the intro done in flash ○ $7.00

Add an additional 3 pages to your site ○ $10.00

My site requires a DataBase ○ $7.00

I would like a Tell-a-Friend Feature ○ $1.00

I would like a guest book ○ $1.00

I would like a Members only Area ○ $3.00

I would like a Multiple Members Areas ○ $5.00

I would like a Forum/Bulletin Board (License not included)
~Designed and Configured ○ $40.00

I would like a Site map ○ $1.00

I would like Live Help Program (monthly fee) ○ $5.00

Custom Quote:

Once DOTCOMGOD has chosen what he wants (he can choose more then one option)
~imagine the numbers in “bold” and “black” are the ones he has chosen
It will take him to the next page that would have everything he has chosen with a final total. For example

Next Page

1-5 Page Web Site Design …………….. $10.00
I would like a Tell-a-Friend Feature ……$1.00
I would like a guest book………………. $1.00
I would like a Site map……………….…. $1.00

Total $13.00

Pay by Paypal

If someone chooses to input comments for Custom Quote, then the comments will be emailed to us within the form, but they should still pay for whatever else they have chosen. So above if DOTCOMGOD also input some comments such as:
“Would like Dnforum.com to do all of my site content”
He would still pay the $13.00 and then the comment will be emailed to us and we will discuss further payment agreements for the custom work.

Now when someone else goes to purchase web design services they will see an updated pyramid with all the ones that have been taken

GD $15 $15 $15 $15

Looking forward to your feedback gents!

I like the ala carte idea and the freshness of thinking outside the box. I'm not sure about going as high as $50, but $5, $10 and $15 pyramid would work well. I do not think the intention is turn to this into an auction process.

A little deeper explanation of what you actually get with a web design would help in my opinion.

I am not sure i understand.
First, how can anyone get a site designed for so little money?
Second, it appears to be auction related, correct?
Last, I like the options in the last part, it sounds very good.

No auction will be run, first come first serve.

We will announce when they are available and the luck of the draw will dictae who gets them.

More details will be posted tomorrow am.

There are no strings besided reasonable web services, actually very cheap.

sounds unique.....

Will the designs be totally custom made or based off templates?

because i imagine there might be a big run of designs needed as people fill the cheaper spots.
