Hi my name is landy, Iam blue (LR blue), a Defender with a 3.4 litre engine under my hood its still my first one, 6 years old, and the "trusty" landrover of unclewilco

But iam not very well, I have ruptured my fuel tank (yes its sounds as painfull as it is), plus i keep slipping on the inclines when pulling my mate "tray" (the horse trailer), so need some nice new tyres for my wheels.

Of course uncelwilco tends to spend all his money on sheds and domain names, so he really does not care for me.. but he needs me, and Mrs unclewilco is nagging him to get me fixed by the weekend otherwise he will have to go and live in the shed (hes not bothered really as its really comfortable in there).

So i have managed to get a list of domains out of him, when he was cleaning my cab and removing mud and junk for my visit to the nice LR garage to get me fixed.

NB. this was not really written by my landrover, I know landys are the best 4x4 by far, but come on..

ouch my belly hurts...

just had my old fuel bank ripped from me, the spotty youth doing the job said that it was corroded very babdy and had a split!!... well my owners do live in welsh wales where it does rain a lot and so iam always drieving through floods and the like, maybe they should have taken more care of my underside... anyway, iam feeling a bit better, once the welding scare have gone away, can't wait to have my new tyes pirrelli ones with that extra grip for those nasty welsh hills..

of course wilco is complaining as iam costing too much, maybe the rest of you will help him out.. as he thanks the ones who have already..

plus he has promised to show you a photo of me with my shiny new fuel tank, so watch out for some candid shots soon.

BTW, I just visited my father and helped him build a kickass shed. I can post some pictures in a few weeks if you want, on your shed site I remember you having? Or have I been dreaming?

Hope you have better luck than me Wilco. The Jeep Sale I launched last month has not even touched the repairs and and costs I incurred for this beast so far. I hope the mechanics over your way are better than here. I just had to file fraud complaint with the state over a local garage here in Florida that had my truck for 3 weeks just to fix simple items 3 times for the same two parts. I finally got her back today after taking her to a nationally known franchise and she is getting there now. Next comes the 4" lift and then the paint. She may just be bigger than your shed......
 
nicpal, sorry to hear that....

where as i should really be doing the work myself (and saving a bomb), iam useless with a wrench let alone a welding torch, so i have let the "local" LandRover dealership take on the work, they cost more than a normal mechanic, but they do a very good job and it is covered by a warrantly (3 months),

they charge over the odds for the parts, (eg iam paying 15% more for the fuel tank.. than if i bought it myself), but i had to get a 12k mile service done as well.. so one stop shop....

RIGHT onto the sales, come on guys make me offers... so that i can pay off the work i have had done!!!!!

settled my landys bill today, cor the tyres are nice... hes looking forward to offroading!!

anyway prices reduces for quick sale.. offers still welcome.
