smells like motor oil :fish:

This is huge for domain after market

Bob Parsons shakes his earring in excitement.

i want to see Bob Parsons taking domain after market to the next level

IMO, Godaddy's signature auctions will never be that great. They do not have the buyers they need to sell those kind of domains. Most are newbies, and have no clue the value of domains.

If they want to put in a service that will be useful, they could add an Escrow service!

Godaddy is the biggest registrar, that's lots of eyeballs.

If the domains are good, people will come.

i have to agree with you my friend, Godaddy can bring the biggest sales, that we have not even seen before. With financing in place its just a matter of time people going to be running to GoD to sell there names.

This isn't the first one of these.
The first one was a complete bust so I hope some things have been adjusted.

I agree with Bgray, IMO i cant really see godaddy making a big time from this, IMO site point, sedo and all the others are better than this. although it seems as though it may get more publicity to the domains for sale. IMO if godaddy are to make something from this, they should also sell developed website's then it something i would be interested in.

I must say one thing... were not paying to sell our domains really, where paying because of "Go daddys reputation" Go daddy are using this to there advantage to earn more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!

What about if Godaddy.com closes few big sales for $$$$$$$$$$$ and most likely they will soon or later, i think Godaddy has a better leverage to get in to this at this time that anybody else.

I don't even think GoDaddy fully realize how well they could leverage their name to have a first class auction component. If done properly, and I mean something radically different/better than tdnam, they could move the aftermarket to another level. The GoDaddy brand, marketing, and public awareness is at least 4 times that of the next closest domain industry competitor. The Signature Auction concept is so far from what it could be. Seems to be very limited and almost an after thought. A shame really.

I cannot see a link anywhere on GD or TDNAM to this
The latest news at tdnam only shows January for me
I realize the OP posted the Feb news link
