Malicious activity is already being seen coming from the many new top-level domains released this year by ICANN. It seems to be a boon to phishers and spammers.

Some of the new gTLDs are more prone to attack by phishers than the others.
A report by Infosecurity-Magazine puts forth an example in this regard stating that .pharmacy domains would be a good candidate for spammers pushing various drugs, even though there may be restrictions on who is allowed to register domains with this extension.

Just a few days back, Internet Storm Center reported that phishing scams were already using the '.support' TLD.
