If there are any new extensions coming out, it will be the dumbest most ridiculous thing ICANN will ever do (and you know they already as dumb as ....k)

All this is going to do is make the .COM, yes the DOT COM even more powerful than it already is.

So, in conclusion...

Love live the KING*

Dunno man. I think .info and .biz will be great for some sectors.

imo, its just Icann's way of letting people know that there are
no new extensions on the immediate horizon - so go line the coffers of their buddies for .info, .biz etc

they always said this last release of 7 new gtld's was a testbed for future gtld releases - so its nothing new.

Please, add some more TLDs--no, add a bunch--so my dot-coms will further distance themselves from those sorry, nobody cares, me-too domains that the $8 bettors get so excited about for god only knows why.

$8 bucks??? Are you kidding me???? Most of the best .info and .biz were got at $70 bucks minimum during LL, most a lot more if you count in multiple registrar bids.

Paid $70; worth much less. One opinion.

Sure, who's talking about one lousy $70 domain. The game is now for 50+ monster sets of perfect domains representing single industries. :D Mega sets is the way to go for the big bucks. Single domains just don't hack it like it used to.

I went to a venture capitalist/inventor networking session today. Came back to the office with 5 business cards. The score on domain names represented: 5 dot-coms, 0 dot-metoo domains.
