NameDrive has implemented a new keyword implementation, whereas keywords will need to get accepted, similar to Sedo. I checked all of mine, and they were all green (accepted), however, I've got the red "New Keyword Implementation" button still lit.I assume, Ed will be filling us in on this.

Hi Fab,

The New Keyword Implementation link will be there for a couple of weeks just so everyone is aware of the change and then it will disappear. We are checking this on a very regular basis, so the maximum wait should be 1 hour. I do recommend using the preview magnifying glass before submitting a change, though.

Ed - please check your system - it seams that the clicks are not updating - or maybe nobody clicks on anything anymore ?

So the keywords are reverting to manual? Considering the trouble we've had with Sedo, that's a step backwards!

my click % is today half - and it wasn't good before !

Hi Acroplex,

I appreciate it feels like freedom is being taken away, but we check them at least every hour so there is as little wait as possible before they go live. We still value freedom of keywords for all customers, but Google have asked us to clamp down, so it is out of our hands. This also greatly increases our control over click fraud. However, in doing this, we are doing our utmost to ensure the 'inconvenience' to our regular customers is absolutely minimum.

Wolfis, your clicks are a little lower today, but the beginning of the day normally starts slowly and then picks up in the afternoon.

Thanks Ed for being active on this forum. Personally I appreciate your involvement since day one. I think that Google is a big bully and very akin to a monopoly. They manipulate ad pricing and they pass their cuts and strict policies onto the food chain, of which we are the very end. Has NameDrive considered partnering with a few independent feeds that still manage to bypass the Big Brother Google?

Hi Acroplex,

Much as Google is maligned, they came from great roots and are generally an excellent partner to have. We're not fishing for anything else at the moment, though plenty are coming fishing for us. For now and the foreseeable future, we'll be with them.
I'm off to the TRAFFIC conference, so hope you all have a great day...

Ed
