Very nice, so it has to be a broker or agent to get this on our website? Wonder if an outsider who has an appropriate domain can own a site like this. If so, please PM price. Thanks.
Anyone who is subscribing to get the MLS data can use this - I would just need to map the data in to the proper format for this application. And as I've learned over the past few months, the data is laid out very differently depending on which service you are subscribed to. As Johnn pointed out in the first page of this post:
"There are about a dozen of them out there:FNIS, PlanetRealtor, Rapattoni, TriangleMLS, ARMLS, Sandicor, MarketLinx, InterRealty, FlexMLS , Variman, FNIS and more. You need to contact the local Realtor Board to see which one they are using."
He's exactly right and this fact certainly makes my life more difficult in making the application work out of the box for all of them.
For example - PlanetRealtor (the one I worked with on Cindy's site) made my life very easy by putting EVERYTHING on a single file with external links to photos... piece of cake. Rapattoni on the other hand ... yuck... lots of separate files and had to download and store photos locally. I'm sure others have their own unique quirks. None of the issues are insurmountable - they just add time in the development process.
