I submitted names but i have had no time to do this agreement form.

It would be much easier to have a form on the site that we can accept.

All done and ready to go here! You guys promoting your names to potential buyers or just letting them sell themselves?

I'll be putting out a press release or two and drop a few emails. If anyone wants me to set them up an account for a free press release just drop me a PM.

Good luck everyone!

So I get a lovely email from MyID today saying the following:

There was a bug in our system that allowed the submission of some domains of yours that do not pass the 365 days rule, i.e domains that were registered less than 365 days ago.
This bug has been fixed.
Unfortunately, we cannot list these domains in our auction at this time. We guarantee however their inclusion in a future auction as soon as they meet the 365 day period.
We do apologize for the inconvenience.

The two names that were approved are less than 365 days old however as we have seen these guys do make exceptions if the domain is likely to sell which I believed to be the case with mine as they are both employment related and similar domains have performed extremely well in previous auctions.

I have not been impressed with MyId in the past as their responses to my emails are basically just them saying we're working on it or we will update you some other time and never get back to me.

Has anyone had a positive experience with MyID yet? Any other venues for selling .ca names that you have tried and had decent results with?

I have some name accepted and some rejected .

So far I am happy with myid. They answer emails fast and seem very professional. I applaud them for taking the time and setting this up for .ca

I am sure they will get the bugs worked out.

I've got nothing but good things to say about MyId!!

yes, and the list of domains should be published soon.

Wish they would at least send an email out? One day gone, hope they extend the end date

The list is not impressive...lots of names way overpriced.

finally up and running

goodluck

Some Great, some good and some not so good. A real mix. Will be fun to watch this one. Has Myid.ca put out any sort of press release?

not much action so far...hope it picks up

There are some good usable domains there that any one of us would readily add to our portfolio at the right price, but I do agree there are many domains with wishful reserves. In the same breath though myid has sold some domains that I personally wouldn't have paid a tenth of the amount for, so let's see how things shake out. :)

My experience with them so far has been positive. They are having teething problems, but do address them, and offer a service with a good upside. I haven't heard of a single person not being paid for domains that meet reserve, and vice-versa nobody that I know of hasn't received their domain won in their auction. That's much better than some other auction houses thus far.

It's not even a day yet and there are some x,xxx and xx,xxx bids.
