Hi,

I'm brazilian and noticed today the new TOS for AdSense. Someone could me explain if there is any important change?

Also, I have just one AdSense account, but 3 or 4 websites with the same AdSense Code. There is any problem doing that? I see many people do that, so everyone is wrong or it is allowed?

Thank you.

I glanced through the TOS at the parts where it was updated but didn't notice anything that really stood out.

You can use the same Adsense code for any of your sites. Just make sure you only have 3 on a single page, more than that - and you'll get in trouble.

No problem doing that, there would only be a problem if one or more more of your sites got banned from the program because google would close that adsense account and that would affect all of your sites using that account.

Also keep in mind that using the same code on multiple sites allows google to confirm that you own all of them (no worries unless your doing black hat seo)...

Sending you a PM

The new TOS changes have to do with the new Referral program.

I believe the only restriction is you can only have 3 Adsense ad placements per page.

Only the refferal program seemed to change it up.

Wasn't that always in the TOS? I got banned once for having more than 3 per page!

Other than that, now Google started to officially promote Firefox. That means they are not going to develop their own browser.

I thought you could have 3 ad codes and
also put a search box per page. So that would
be 4 codes, but only 3 of them are ads.

The browser doesn't look like it's ready yet. If someone
downloads the browser from your code, would you
get paid if they did a google search from it and clicked
on sponsor ads?

you can have 3 content ads, 1 google search box, and one google keyword bar per page.

Giving you 5 total google items per page.

$100 per referral is nice. If only every publisher made enough to warrant generating a commission.

Your own item would be one too many here. :clown:

Exactly, their system knows if you add more then three on one page and they just would not display the fourth one.
