New "Tube" website: suggestions please

Hi guys!
I need some suggestions here

I will plan to start a big video sharing website...it's better use a domain .com or .tv?
(I think .com but more opinions are welcome).

Another question.
I have a .net generic domain tv-related (the .com is not developed)...it's a good choice develop the .net or can I loose traffic if the website will grow fast in future?

Not like that.
We develop a youtube+facebook stuff...a site where ppl can upload video but with more "social network" stuff than youtube.
The site focus on local places...so every city have a special channel where peoples can meet each others.
Our focus is to built many "local tv" where peoples upload infos and videos about the city they live and where they connect for share infos about events, concerts, dinners, and other stuff.

I think .com is ALWAYS the best solution.

That is possible with vBulletin. They have added social networking functions and it wouldn't be hard to create separate local channels.
