Looking for some appraisals on this one. Im in the process of getting it developed but would like some thoughts on the name value alone. I figured it would be a good time to develop this one with todays tablet craze. It gets 8,100 exacts from Google. Taken in all top extentions including hypenated versions.

I think it's worth $800-$1,200 right now...I'd suggest holding onto it until for a bit as the value will definitely increase over time. That said, if you also own NewTablet (.)com I think you could get around $3k for the pair.

Tablets is becoming huge and will increase in popularity. And you have the plural version of it, thats great.

I would say, if I were you, I wouldn't sell it for under then $10K. But I think I, like you mentioned, rather develop it then sell it.

Good luck with it, I am sure this will be a really hot domain name in a year.

You should check out Toby Clements' newsletter today...I've got a tablet domain package in there that's right up your alley.

My appraisal is based on what I believe is a realistic amount you could sell the domain for today without much effort. Could you get more for it? Sure...but the value of this name will be realized once a few viable iPad competitors hit the market. Nobody is searching for the latest/greatest tablet is at the moment...they already know.

For the record - I wouldn't sell for $800-$1,200 either...but I would sell it for $3k-$5k.
Also, I disagree that the plural version is better in this case. Just personal preference at the moment, but my gut tells me that "Tablet" keywords drive more traffic than "Tablets" keywords. (E.g. "tablet reviews", "tablet accessories", "tablet specs", "sony tablet", "asus tablet", etc...)

Either way, it's a good domain. I'd definitely suggest holding onto it for at least another year or so. In the meantime I would also recommend trying to acquire the singular version if possible.
