newzealand.org sold for $13,000

on namejet.com

iam sure the buyer can sell it for 100K

I don't think it is worth anywhere near 100k. It is .org after all.

Resell it for 100k? Never, maybe if developed.. I think it was a tad bit cheap, but not much.

Sold for cheaper than I would've expected, but I have a hard time seeing it being flipped for $100k undeveloped.

well I get an offer of 35k for istanbul . org so I think that newzealand.org can get 100k

I agree that it would be worth XXX,XXX, but only when developed well.

decent price for a country with good tourism potential

$13k seems very cheap, but $100k would be too high.

Nice buy for the buyer :)

I'll be there in August for a few days during my 2+ week Australian trip to attend a wedding of a good friend.

Looking at the info/data over the past few weeks preparing for this a trip, I can't help but agree.

I think that price would be an excellent deal for a developer. I always liked Geo.org

Brad

True Brad, .org with GEO niche works like a charm! Hopefully the owner develops a nice site.

my .org gets more traffic than all my domains.
It matters what strategic org it is.

wow kiwis are web hot!

i agree
although if it's the gov or official tourist board etc, 100k would still be cheap, plus, .org is the perfect extension

in other parts of the world outside the states, .com can sometimes = cheese ;) with the general public

wonder if the Queen caught it?
saves her reverse hijacking again

IMO the price was just about right given that it's .org. Still a very nice domain. I like .org for geodomains.

ohh well... i guess its worth what that person is willing to pay =)

Is the whois showing for it the NameJet default info or has it been transferred to the new owner already?
