Isn't that also one of the big credit reporting agencies?

Nevermind. Found the answer. It is also the name for credit processing firm.

I think you confused them for Experian? :D

It's also Tricia McMillan's "space" name..

Unless they're one of the TM holders I think the new owner needs to be very careful but can pull quite a profit from it.

There's three biggies in the credit reporting industry. I am thinking that there was a credit agency called Trillian that may have been bought up by one of those.

Otherwise, until you posted what you did post, I was unfamiliar with that application even though the name rang a bell.

The three agencies are Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. You may have blended the first two. :)

Yeah, but I think I like the BBC series better. Some of the characters are better there (especially Ford, he was too stable in the movie). Arthur, though, the movie better.

Hmm...

Marvin - movie
Slartibartfast - series
Trillian - series
Zaphod - series
Eddie - toss up.

Now, do you know why the bowl of petunias had that thought?

Back on subject - there is another TM on Trillian:

I really enjoyed the movie. My wife could not stand it because it had Sam Rockwell. She hated his character from The Green Mile and could never get over it.

And of course...Zooey Deschanel as Trillian in the movie.

The Trailer

The movie was Mos Def. I really liked him in the movie. Love the deadpan humor.
