I recently aquired this site from a well known member here. When I purchased the site I had great hopes for it as it's a great domain for this site. Since I've owned the site I've really done nothing to the site and it's just sat here. I have another site which just takes up too much of my time.

Revenue:
I've owned the site since September 27th. It has made $47.98 in Amazon and $261.15 in adsense since I've owned it. When I first owned it I realized about two weeks later that I didn't change over all the adsense to my account.

Total: $309.13 through 53 days.

Search Engines:
Right now the site is ranked 18th in Google for the keyword "nintendog". I tried to optimize it for "nintendogs" but I failed. I'm no SEO expert at all. Really did some examples of things I tried before. I experienced a day and a half of downtime because of my host as well. Since then I moved to a dedicated server. This has really hurt my search engine rankings.

The site has ranked #2 for "nintendog" for so long but I get spikes where it goes up and down. I have also got it as low as #53 for "nintendogs" but since then it fell off the charts.

MSN:
#1 - nintendog
#2 - nintendogs

Google:
#71 - nintendog (I should have it back up for #1-#2 within the next week.)

Yahoo:
#33- nintendog

Unique Content:
The only thing I've done with the site for unique content was added the articles on this page:
http://www.nintendog.com/nintendogs_reviews.php

The bottom 5 are all unique articles wrote for the site which I paid someone to do for me.

Here are some of the stats here:
www.actualsite.com/www.nintendog.com

Stats:
The site normally gets around 400 - 500 uniques / day. I will show this information tomorrow when I get a chance to take screenshots. I know everyone will require screenshots so please be patient.

Price:
I'm telling you now that I really don't want to sell the site. If I don't get offers that I like then I will refuse to sell. I just don't have time like I thought I would to get this site going more.

FYI-I built and sold the site to webdev. It's an excellent site and I am suprised he is selling right before the xmas season. If the new buyer wants they can contact me and I can give them a few solid tips to increase revenue.

Yes, I bought the site from labrocca. The reason I'm selling is because of my lack of time. I had huge plans for this site when I bought it but MVScript has taken up nearly all of my time along with school. It's going to kill me to sell it like I'm sure it killed him to sell it to me.

Let me also mention that I probably won't be able to get screenshots until tomorrow. I won't have access to a computer which gives me access to create the screenshots. I'll PM you (Instructor) with more information once I get a chance.

Seems that traffic and revenue have dropped... may I ask why?

There's two reasons I can think of... One I did experience pretty much two different days of downtime which I believe hurt the traffic. The search engine rankings recently dropping hurt a bit as well. I believe the Nintendogs game was released in a few different countries around the time of my purchase as well which may have been part of the reason for high traffic then. Other than that I really have no explaination as I'm not really sure.

Let me also mention that I also picked up nintendogs.us as well.

I think the google update hurt it a bit but I am sure it will bounce back for Christmas...Nintendog is a Nintendo 1st party title. Nintendog was the biggest Nintendo game this year. They are almost definitely going to follow up with more dog titles. They may release console versions of the game and there are rumors of Nintencats too. Nintendo has a long history of building up a brand. Pokemon, Mario, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Donkey Kong, Smash Bros, and more...Nintendogs was it's first in the series and for years this site can push any Nintendog product that follows.

Also I recommend that you add Amazon UK affiliate and check IP's to display the UK code. If you geo-target the site can do very well. I still see he does pretty well for traffic...he just needs to convert better.
