I think both NNN.com and NNNN.com are both great investments. NNN.com is min $5,000. NNNN.com is Min $150.

Also, please keep in mind the above numbers are not the norm for pricing, you will find a trend more towards NNNN domains of any kind having more value if they do not have 1's or 0's.

I agree but there are exceptions. Many Chinese Area codes begin with 0 so they are very much in demand. Also 1 can be AM radio frequency 1090.com or 19XX.com are popular due to a year. NNN.coms that begin with a 1 are generally worth more.


Since IDNs have come on the scene the value of Number domains has risen very fast. Numbers are universal. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 are the same in every language.

At the moment, this is pretty much the norm for pricing.

The domains which sold for $785 plus are special numbers. The 19nn.coms are "recent" historical years and 2017.com - a near future year.

The range for the rest is US$85 (unusually low) to $381, with an average of $240.

snapname final bids for all names I was monitoring during the last month are:

with an average of $242 per name.

When I first started collecting NNNN.coms, rightly or wrongly I gave extra preference to domains ending in 0.

I also (rightly or wrongly) gave more priority to names beginning with 1 or 2, than 3 and upwards.

As far as the conversion of numbers to letters using the telephone key pad is concerned I agree that numbers with 0 and 1 are of course no use.

This seem like the correct way to go. All other things being equal, a numeric domain ending in "0" is worth more, and the lower the number the better.
