Also, please keep in mind the above numbers are not the norm for pricing, you will find a trend more towards NNNN domains of any kind having more value if they do not have 1's or 0's.

At the moment, this is pretty much the norm for pricing.
The domains which sold for $785 plus are special numbers. The 19nn.coms are "recent" historical years and 2017.com - a near future year.
The range for the rest is US$85 (unusually low) to $381, with an average of $240.
snapname final bids for all names I was monitoring during the last month are:
4840.com $645
7328.com $260
7396.com $260
3073.com $191
3097.com $290
3875.com $205
6214.com $104
4608.com $165
4216.com $310
0946.com $126
4791.com $176
5382.com $175
with an average of $242 per name.
When I first started collecting NNNN.coms, rightly or wrongly I gave extra preference to domains ending in 0.
I also (rightly or wrongly) gave more priority to names beginning with 1 or 2, than 3 and upwards.
As far as the conversion of numbers to letters using the telephone key pad is concerned I agree that numbers with 0 and 1 are of course no use.
