Hello,

Nourriture.ca

I've been told this means "food" in french. Is that correct?

Given that the name means "food" in french, what do you think the domain is worth?

Thanks,
Jarrod

yes it is food and you have the correct spelling. Not sure about the value for the canadian market.

Thanks for verifying that.

As you all know Canada has a lot of french speaking people and so therefore I think this domain could be worth a good sum.

Any appraisals?

It's difficult to say because the name is very generic and quite broad.
Perhaps the name could be valuable for a large retailer group or a food manufacturing/processing company.

It looks like you regged this one not long ago. It's amazing to see how many good names are still available under .ca.
IMO there are still gems to be found under .ca (and I mean it).

Well the French take their food very seriously. There is no better place to eat out in Canada than Montreal. I wouldn't let it go for less than $3000

the term food in English is very broad. Maybe because the French like food so much they have a lot more words for food to describe exactly what they mean. The simple word for food (as in, the food that is on the table and food that you buy for yourself in the grocery store) is usually "boustifaille" or "manger" , the word nourriture is more often used in the context of nutrition which I think is even better when it comes to selling something over the internet. Nice buy.
