I am going to sell my business, and now accept offers for the following domains, but I would like to know the value of those domains or how much I can expect to get from the market. Could you have a fair appraisal please? (on individual domains, or whole batch is welcome!)

O5.com
Whats.org
hozting.com
GetName.net
builds.net
opn.biz
Online-Support.net
on7.com
wio.org
especially.org
Azn.nu
Now.nu
Christian.nu
Color.nu
homepage.nu
tech.nu

Your help is much apprecipated.

I'll say $10 based on the O5.com - simply on the basis that I hope it ends up for sale for double that, in which case I'll chance it. No, seriously, O5.com is the gem here; the others are worth comparatively little. So I would guess you're looking at realising something like $30k, but I might well be UNDERvaluing. There are some experts here on LN.coms etc. I just wish I had a few.

Good luck.

Thanks for your reply, aZooZa. I believe I should read $10k (not $10) for o5.com :)

I agree with you, the value of this domain would be at least $10k as two char domains are really rare and the combination of this domain is not bad (though o2 is the best! :cheeky: )!

Do you think it would be wise to sell o5.com and other domains separately, or combine and sell them as a whole for $30k? As we understand it may be difficult to find a suitable buyer to invest large sum of money...

$10k for O5.com ? Not really. You're looking into $3k - $8k depending on the mood of the potential buyer. We're talking about $25k+ for 2-letter .com domains.

radistar, so you're saying the number kills it?

$3k - $8k for a LN domain (letter number)
$25k+ for a LL domain

what about for a NL domain? same as a LN?

It's more complex than this. Low numbers (1,2,3) are valued higher than the rest (4 - 9, 0). Also NL domains are *usually* valued less than the LN variant.

"o" is the worse letter you can have in a two char name as it's easily confused
with the number "0" and visa versa.

o5.com is only worth $2000 - $2500 IMO.

o2 own and use both o2.co.uk and 02.co.uk for this reason (02.co.uk points to o2.co.uk).

For o5.com to be developed effectively you would really need to own 05.com also.

Rob, if that were "zero five" it would be worth more, in my opinion :-D But it's "letter Oh five".

o5.com - 15K minimum and don't take less
builds.net - 300-1000
wio.org - 100-300
especially.org = 20-50

the rest - reg fee to 0

Read it again Kevin -- supposed to be a joke ;) To repeat, I would be asking $30k for the lot. But don't expect it to come quick. There are obviously some metrics which the seasoned domainers use to value LN.coms, but that might all end up as simple subjectivity when someone comes knocking on your door wanting to use it as a brand. Remember VO5 shampoo? Smart money is on the waiting game -- if you can.

Well, e1 is a 6 figure name. I've got the offers for proof. :)

I still say o5.com is worth 15K minimum. Even LN coms are very rare to find for sale.

Good luck with it.

o5.com appraisal ranged from $2k-$15k min and today I received an email from Greatdomains that they reject my listing application for o5.com. :( I just believe in NameGuy, selling LN is not easy... (but I thought NL is much more difficult!)

However, I have a good news that Greatdomains accept to list wio.org for $10k for 6 months, but doubt if it's realistic.

If you sell to a reseller don't expect alot. The domain has a 5 star for it's rarity but it's marketability is less than others of the LN breed.

However, if your not in a rush I would post it all around and I would expect you should get 15K-25K in short order.

A big company that was looking for a marketing strat could 2x or 3x that if they can see a future project in it.

Well done on the domain and the best of fortune to you.
