Thing is got about 5 projects half built at minute lol, so thought would just ask for appraisal on what worth now and predictions after. As i plan to develop into obviously a blog site for the masses, so everyone can have their own blog:

ie: janet.obamablogs.com etc

that will generate a LOT of traffic. working on principle that our man will be most talked about person on globe for next 8 years, i think thats pretty guaranteed and we have many ups and downs ahead of us for these next 8 years, and talking points EVERY day

also obama owns obamablog.com, not developed yet is parked , but he's very internet savvy and wouldnt surprise me if his gets developed out. hope so, some traffic leakage would be cool

Well, if it is waiting for development, I think it is going to be super.

Who knows, maybe the main man himself will stop in.

I think it is a great idea.

Especially with the subdomain issue.

I think or something like Twitter and how all of those addresses are indexed like

I do like the name first. I think it reads and looks better.

As a domain, I would estimate currently in low xxxx.

As a site, similar to a microblog or even a v bulletin site, this has very strong potential

Sub forums like foreign policy, domestic policy, environment, energy and so on.

As a built site, it could be a gem.

After all, it will be popular for at least the next eight years!

within weeks it had a huge alexa score and google pr. shows what promotion from a bigboy can achieve

anyway, i quite like idea of site, but for blogs, so latest blog post rolls up

I am familiar with the sale and all but, frankly, I had never visited the site.

It does look good.

It will be time consuming setting it up but with feeds it should not be impossible.

There are so many categories and naturally every thing he says or does makes the news.

Ideally, an international perspective and feeds would be very beneficial also.

How the world feels and reacts to US news needs to be presented.

He may be the President of the United States but the US's reputation and view from abroad has been in the shitter.

Count me in.

I would love to be part of an international community like that.

Does anyone else have any ideas on how to do it? Would greatly appreciate. Also where do you see core value? apart from worthwhile project that will garner a lot of traffic i hope, where can i monetize. do you think like cafe press? maybe sell some obama products like posters etc? or is all that stuff tmed?

Pred, I would definitely suggest adding a store to your site. Even if its an affiliate of a site like ObamaShirts.com - They actually use cafepress. You can also use adsense and other ad networks. I would test ppc ads as well as cpm ads. Sounds like a great project. Good luck with it.

obamablog.com is parked but it's parked free courtesy of godaddy.so if anything godaddy would be profiting on parking $$$
