Attempting to add a couple of names to my account at Sedo ... jaguars dot info and flies dot info.

Both are met with the following message:
"We're sorry, but we cannot allow you to add this domain to your account due to a potential violation of Sedo's policy against domains that include obscene or illegal subject matter."

Am I missing something here regarding the definition of "obscene" or "illegal"?

Perhaps I'm unaware of some new definitions for the words "jaguars" or "flies"?

Maybe "jaguars" is a dirty word in German?

Weird.

Sedo's error reports are very German in their square logic :D Contact your account manager to manually accept these innocent domains!

Of course I've contacted them about the issue. Just thought I'd share while I wait until the weekend is over before possibly receiving a "human" reply back from Sedo.

(I need to get a job with those folks ... always closed on Saturday and Sunday. I work for myself and the boss NEVER gives me weekends off :))

Most likely, a possible TM issue. I've had the same thing with a domain name that contains the string 'touch', I believe the error message specifically stated they had had issues/claims in the past about that type of domain.

Not sure what the exact phrase is you were trying to park.

If anything has the word(s) teen(s) in it, it will not be parked with sedo.

As innocent as some may be, sedo will not touch it.

Well, there's a week gone by with no response from Sedo regarding WHY the are deeming the words FLIES and JAGUARS to be "obscene or illegal subject matter". No surprise ... Sedo is one of the worst examples of customer service on the web today.

Well ... since I never received a response from Sedo support regarding the "obscene or illegal" nature of the words "jaguars" and "flies", I thought a Sedo rep might jump in here and offer to help.

Silly me ... what was I thinking.
