Nice one, 15k to 25k, and I might be on the low side.

Of course it's only worth that if you find someone wanting it. :)

Do some research and find 20 mid/large companies with the abbrev. ODO. Send emails to the CEO, CIO, CFO (exec level) and let them know you are privately auctioning the name to the best offer. Don't start with a public bidding! The best offer approach will sometimes get you 2 or 3 times your asking price out the gate.

That's all very well in theory but I could not find one commercial website that whose primary address was based on these 3 letters, nor was I able to turn up any meaningful Adwords or Overture or search results on Google.

OK, it is a three letter Acronym so it has got to be worth something, but nobody is killing themselves to get hold of it. Seems to be mainly speculator actiivity.

I would say take a profit at anything over $5K.

Well, the big problem there is you don't buy Odometers because they are incorporated into the Speedometer. Anyway, who actually goes on line to buy either of these components?

Thanks guys!

It's a recent acquisition.

Yes, there are only a few companies called ODO... a French clock maker, a Chinese (?) shirt maker, and a couple of smaller companies. Then there is "odontologia" (dentistry in Spanish and Portuguese), ODO could be a dentist's site or dentistry portal.

I'm not in a hurry to sell and will try to get $15k to $20k, or maybe I will develop the domain as I really like the sound of it. (the DO could stand for domains, and the O... outstanding?)

Thanks again, I greatly appreciate your input.
