closed Oil.lk - How would you value a county domain

Guys just for curiosity, wanted to ask this.

I'm in Sri lanka and I do have domains like Oil.lk and most premium once.

Now the thing is I know country domain extensions don't work well, yet I want to know if these premium domains works..

Another thing is .Lk domains can be bought only by Sri lankans. But, I can facilitate the issue.

Keeping all these in mind, will my senior members tell how worth it is ?

Nice name, though I can't really see a domainer buying a .LK who is not planning to be in or target Sri Lanka. An end user valuation is anyone's guess and an oil company in/getting into Sri Lanka would not be short of money....

At $90/year the 3 letter .lk's aren't cheap to maintain

You know I was wondering most of the good names are costly at .com or .net arena.

So I thought if John would like to have his blog at John.lk... Or for you Tom how about Tom.lk

So every body can have nice names right ?

Well If I was John I would really love to.. Right ? I would never get such a chance ! You agree ?
