Looks like a nice enduser sale... Thoughts?

That's a massive sale! Resale value is like $800.

Big sale, nice domain!

Also possible that jewelosco.com acquired it

lol thats a good point

a British company buying the .com

.co.uk already taken and developed.....

it looks like a good price, but the seller could have been caught in a "situation".

osco drugs could have been putting some pressure on them, ala infringement emails and such.

if the seller had ever approached them, they (osco) could use that as evidence.

imo, the current domain usage as a website and biz model, puts it out of range for confusion of a pharmaceutical mark...so far.

however, the current owner is in a better position to negotiate a higher price with "osco drugs" should they be contacted.

again, imo...

Resale value means nothing to an end user. <$25K is a very small price to pay for a great domain / home on the internet for any company.

Agree. 25K is a very small expense that is only incurred once.

If selling domains were like collecting baseball cards, this approach would never get you the rare ones.

nice name, great sale ...and im sure the buyer is happy and not hurt by the price.

congrats to all :yo: wish it was mine :pound:

I've just tried to point out that it is a nice sale, with most probably an excellent ROI, nothing more.

I grew up going to Osco drug stores. I'm amazed that they didn't acquire this domain 15 years ago. Great sale, but whoever owned this domain knew what they had. They played it safe for sure.

Same here, Osco has been everywhere in the Chicagoland area for decades.....nice sale indeed.
