its very hard to tell off-hand. pls give an example of YOUR kind of word so that we can give an idea. Some terms just cannot be compared with others in value.

Value varies according to type of word, e.g. nouns, adjectives and verbs vs gerunds or adverbs(higher to lower). There is no "across the board" price.

I've sold many such .net's in the mid to high 4-figures. Unless you post an example I can't give you a price range.

Allanh,

I'm pretty new to this so only my opinion.
I saw your other post about whether to buy a 1 word .net or the 2word .com for a few thousand...

I think you also have to be careful of trademarks or the possibility of a company coming along with an order and then you being forced to let the name go.

So if you're thinking of buying a .net like this, I think you need to factor in the risk that this domain might yield nothing and be taken off you, versus the best cases (either you get to sell it on at a profit or the revenues it will give you are pretty big).

If you think the resel profit might only be small and the revenues average, then I'd stay away from domains like this because of the risk that you might lose the money you paid for this domain when it's taken off you.

Just my opinion.
