I don't understand why you are such a doubting Thomas. If one grand were the limit for a LLLL .com we'd still be trading LLL .com domains for a couple of thousand. But thanks for giving me fodder for a new blog post later today.
I'm not a 'doubting' Thomas, really i'm not.
And I, for one, am a great advocate of giving op's end-user
prices in valuation threads. But this needs to be tempered
by reality, and the simple fact is that the owner of Oniq.com
is not able to go out today and sell his domain for $20K or
even anything approaching that figure.
Will he sell for anything close to that in the future? Maybe,
i've no idea. But when we start valuing domains on the basis
of a future event (if so and so company did X, etc..) that
might happen... "well, maybe if X should kinda happen"...
(a circumstance that the owner has no control over) then
all valuations may as well be worthless.
