Everytime I try to transfer a domain from OnlineNIC to GoDaddy, OnlineNIC denies it. I have tried to get an answer from them as to why they deny the transfers. But have yet to get any response from them. Is there any other action I can take to get my domains out of OnlineNIC?

Thanks,
DD

They are a bit weird about transfers out. They take it personally. Send them a nice email and tell them why you are transferring out. Are the names locked? If so, ask them to remove the lock.

How do you guys like onlinenic?
They are hounding me for business and I am starting to research them.

What would be be the advantage of going with them instead of eNom (does the 26 cent difference justify the scaled down features?)

They are holding a domain of mine hostage also. They did finally email a reply that before they will transfer out, it must be with them 6 months and that it takes a letterhead fax to them.

Seems like they are breaking the registrar rules set by ICANN but its probably futile to complain to ICANN since they are complete idiots also.

OKay, I take it no one likes them!

Actually it's not so much that, OR that they are bad people, they are just CHINESE!

So... there is a language barrier, as well as a culture barrier!

I advise patience, and as HiHoSilver said, be polite (that always helps!) and clearly explain what you want!

Good Luck!

Hey DomainDirk! I am really sorry to hear about your trouble!

May I offer you the E-mail of a person I have dealt with there a lot? She has done much above and beyond the call of duty for me.

[email protected]

Her name is Sophy Lai. Hope she still works there! At least she might be able to help get your transfers through.

Good Luck! Let me know if I can be of any other help!
