I used a reseller of Tucows to secure a number of domains and now I am interetsed in transferring ownership upon a sale of one or more of the names...

How exactly does that work? Does the new owner supply a username and password then I manually set that up via the "change domain" option? It appears I can transfer names to myself (i.e. another account of mine), but not necessarily to another person.

I need some clarification, if someone has it for me.

Cheers,
Stuart.

First off, unlock your domain.

Then go to "Profile > Change Ownership of Domain". Make up a new username/password combo BUT make sure you do NOT check the boxes (e.g. "Move to existing profile"). You will be automatically logged in as the new user.

Render this newly created account to the buyer, and ask him to change the contact info afterwards.

Hope this helps.

That is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you, sir.

Regards,
Stuart.

You are most welcome. :)
