Saw this posted on reddit, ill quote the relevant part:
She puts it in the same category as .edu and .gov. She will not take my word for it and she looked surprised when I told her anybody can register .org and put whatever they want on it. Are there any "peer reviewed" site able to explain this so I can send it to her in a polite fashion?
here's the link, thought it was kinda interesting to get a perspective from a non-domainer
