» The day of the change-over is scheduled on Saturday, January 25, 2003.

» VeriSign and PIR announced a maintenance period of 7 hours at this date.

Once everything is transitioned over ... will the former Whois information be updated?? I mean, we're not going to potentially lose these .ORG registrations, are we? Thanks.
 
Only difference will be 5 days added to the expirey date, not much else.

One .Org I might lose is with StarGate - they were down Saturday becuase of the Worm problem. I requested the transfer at Enom but SG's systems were all down. According to what I understand this .Org will not be available again for another few months.
I tell people to transfer their domains months before expirey - not one to listen to my own advise sometimes :)

Approx. when will we start to see our 'old Admin. info in the new Whois, do you think? Appreciate your time.
 
.Orgs Should be safely in PIR hands by now - and transfers are now going thru ok to :)
