what does the following mean?

DNS Zone: Name servers submitted for registration must be authoritative for the domain prior to registration and must be for the life of the domain, not just during the registration

Are the name servers registered as such?

I've never had problems changing nameservers of my .org.uk domains...

this is what it said when i went to register a .org.uk. so i hesitated and didn't register because i wanted to know what this means. for instance, if i buy this domain with the intent to sell it .... it almost sounds to me like the registry is saying, "the nameservers for this domain, once selected, will be permanent and cannot be changed" .. does anyone else feel, or know, if that is what is being said? ..... in which case i can virtually forget about ever selling the domain. "hi, i have xxxxxxxxx.org.uk for sale but you may not change the nameservers." errr .. no.

I've never had problems changing nameservers of my .org.uk domains...

then by that i would say it is not what i think it means, and i'll go ahead and register it. agreed?

Ring nominet if you are unsure
