I have just purchased an expired .com domain on TDNAM.
This domain name is the acronym of a top International Conference of an computer science subject, like AAAI.
Its .ORG was registered since 1993, the beginning period of public domain history. The .COM used to be owned by the same organization but finally dropped for about two years, but it was not reged as earlier as its .ORG.
.ORG has PR 7, but as it is a pure academic website, so there is no high traffic(not like IEEE), this .COM gets 20 type-in visits per day.
So do you think this domain worth anything? or at least worth for collection?
I d like to hold it for a while I have some PHD mates they are currently working hard on submitting their essays to this conference :deadhorse: if they failed, WOW, at least they could list here on .COM :loco:
