My estimation based on my past sales would be about 2-3k.

Well if "Whole Foods" does not own organic.com, they might be interested?
Personally, I would hold on to it for a while longer.
Being that it's a .us -> $XXXX, potentially much more to the
right end user.

BTW I was the one bidding against you in that auction. I was surprised the price escalated that far, but they have a really poor auction format and I guess we both wanted it for obvious reasons. The real winner here was the auction seller. I feel that the auction price ate into the end-user selling price of the domain. I personally was buying for development. If you didn't buy for that reason then you could have made a mistake in speculation. Nonetheless, I would still estimate the value at $10-$15K in today's market and much higher in the future. US has proven very strong lately in sales and the organic food market has seen an increase in popularity in recent years. Keep watch on codex adoption.

I actually think NOW is the perfect time to sell. I think the talk and expectations about organic are on its peak, that doesnt mean organic food is not going to be more successful as it currently is, its like HDTV, I think prices for those domains reached its peak last year or two years ago although more and more people will buy HDTVs, you think domains are often like stocks, you have to sell on talk and expectations not on current situations.

Develop it and sell it and I think you could get a good price. I agree that talk about organic might have reached its peak or soon will.
